Onwards to Sydney and time with Jonathon

I can allow a gentle start to this morning, which is especially good given it's Sunday and I enjoy some coffee machine coffee courtesy of my Airbnb in Kurrajong, sipped while walking in my host's Garden and it was a garden well worth walking in: beautiful, varied, well established.
As I drive towards Sydney, I note the price of fuel has soared to as high as 207 cents per litre which is ridiculously high given that I saw it for 159 only about a week ago. Whether it's Sunday pricing, locality or what, I don't know.
Google took me via some interesting back roads but I do end up at Keiser in Pymble in time to do a physio session before they close. From there I head towards my Sydney Airbnb. Again, Google takes me through some weird routes, presumably to avoid traffic congestion on the Pacific Highway. My hostess responds to my message querying check-in time by telling me I can check in anytime I like, which is most convenient. So I do and I wash just about all of my clothes, which have not seen a washing machine for 2 weeks.
By that time it's time to walk around to visit Jonathan who arrived back from the US this morning.
We'd agreed on sushi platter for dinner provided the restaurant could accommodate our request and after sitting and chatting and admiring some of his work in the garden and some of his pot plants (other pot plants had not fared so well) we collected the sushi platter order and enjoyed it to the full.
I left fairly early as his jet lag was obviously kicking in and as I said goodnight at the door he was already heading for the bedroom, to Yu Rong's amusement.
He had offered to drive me back to my accommodation but given it's only 400 m and he was on the verge of falling asleep and I'm rather more able-bodied than I was last time I visited. I declined the offer and walked.
Monday morning I went for another session at Keiser before heading round to spend the day with Jonathon. I noted that petrol prices in the area are still way up at 207 cents per litre, so I'm wondering what they're like in other parts of Sydney. I shall find out tomorrow when I fill up before I really head south.
The forecast for today is 26° and I'm heading out without even thinking about taking a jumper, first time I've done that in a long long time.

I have a lovely day pottering around Jonathon's garden with him, he had a few garden jobs he wanted to get done and hasn't had the opportunity to do recently and I enjoyed helping where I could. And of course admiring the delights in his garden.

Our excursion out took us to Bunnings in Pymble for a few purchases, including a potentially lovely Callistemon to fill a space near their rear balcony and then to Chatswood Chase to buy the necessaries for a particularly good barbecue dinner.

It was delightful to spend time with him and with Yu Rong, and Jonathon and I celebrated with the bottle of Milton vintage bubbles that I had bought a couple of years ago with the intent of celebrating his 30th birthday with him. We definitely savoured it as potentially one of the last bottles in captivity. And it was most pleasant to enjoy a glass out on the verandah, in the early evening, still feeling the warmth of the day.
